Students who would like to participate in the Early Access Program for second semester should plan to visit with their school counselor right away to complete the registration process. Click here for the course offerings.
The deadline to submit materials to the HHS counseling office is December 13th as this will allow us to finalize materials and provide them to Carroll in time for their December 14th deadline.
Keep in mind that Carroll’s second semester begins on January 14th. Semester exams at HHS go from January 15th-17th. If students will need to miss a semester exam in order to attend a Carroll class, students must plan accordingly and seek permission from their administrator first so that the semester exam can be made up during the make-up session. Furthermore, students need to make sure that their Helena High second semester course schedule can accommodate the Carroll class.
As a reminder of requirements, students must be a junior or senior and have accumulated a GPA of at least at 3.25. While such courses will not count toward high school graduation, upon successful completion, students would receive documentation of completed credits from Carroll College. Likewise, please keep in mind that such college courses would not count toward MHSA activity eligibility as well.
