Earth Science Week-at-a-Glance for Monday May, 20th 2019

Monday – Notes on Volcanism
Tuesday- Write a short constructed response on Comparing Yellowstone to Hawaii Volcanism.
Wednesday – Rock cycle reading pages 66-69, then complete a rock cycle activity.
Thursday – Field Trip to Trout Creek Canyon. For students staying in class, complete a current event.
Friday – The Day the Mesozoic Died.

Earth Science Week-at-a-Glance for Monday, May 13th 2019

Monday- Students will be presenting information on one of six earthquakes. We will also be reviewing faulting and mountain building.

Tuesday – Students will be taking the ACT aspire for Science.

Wednesday and Thursday – Students will be learning about Volcanism and completing “Searching for Home Plate.”

Friday – Students will be examining different igneous rock types and exploring Yellowstone Volcanics.
