Monday – Students took notes on a presentation on running water. Students were prepped for the field trip.
Tuesday – Students participated in a field trip to the Asarco Superfund Site. Students that stayed in school completed a reading activity about the site.
Wednesday – Students reviewed the art of graphing through TAILS. Then they created a hydrograph in the Activity “A River Runs Through It”
Thursday – Students will be watching a film entitle Salmon: Running the Gauntlet (52-minute video). Note: Skip the intro and start at the 2-minute mark. Students will complete a “Film Guide”
Friday – Students will complete “A River Runs Through It.” Stream Dynamic Notes.
Monday – Turned in “Drainage Basins” Map Activity, Notes on Issues in our Watershed
Tuesday – Watershed activity
Wednesday – “Color Me a Watershed” Activity
Thursday – Quiz on Watersheds
Friday – Helena High School Counselors will be in our class discussing key factors for success for ninth grade year.
