CITY COLLEGE – MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY BILLINGS 

Saturday, October 26th we are hosting our annual open house, “City College Day”.  Prospective students, their families and community members are welcome to stop by anytime between 10am and 1pm to learn about the programs and how easy it is to get started at City College!

DAWSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE – BUCCANEER DAY

All high school seniors, juniors, and parents of prospective students are invited to experience a day in the life of a Dawson Community College student on Buccaneer Day.

Buccaneer Day will be held on October 28, March 16, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the DCC campus.

All visiting students will have the opportunity to learn about academic programs and student services; meet instructors, coaches, and current students; connect with future students; take part in a hands-on academic experience; have lunch in the Student Center; and receive a full tour of the campus. Additionally, Buccaneer Day attendees are entered to win a $250 scholarship.

Buccaneer Day is a free event, however, anyone interested must register prior to attending. Students can register at www.dawson.edu.

 

MONTANA TECH

Tech days are Montana Tech’s campus preview events for prospective students and their families. They are a unique opportunity to experience life at Montana Tech and to see if we are the right place for you to achieve your personal and academic goals.

Tech Days let you explore your academic area of interest, take part in interactive classroom sessions, tour campus, and connect with faculty and students. Come discover everything that awaits at Montana Tech!

  • 2019 Women in Engineering Dinner – Friday, March 8, 2019 @ 5:30-8:00 (RSVP by Friday, March 1st)

This annual event convenes hundreds of MSU engineering students, faculty, alumni, and young women from the region who are interested in studying engineering. A networking session offers MSU students an opportunity to connect with recruiters and others.

  • Shadow a College of Engineering Student – Friday, March 8, 2019 @ 7:30-2 (RSVP no later than Friday, February 22)

High school students interested in engineering or computer science are paired up with an MSU Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering major to get a taste of life as a NACOE student. They attend classes and tour cutting-edge research labs for a day.

At MSUB Degree Exploration Day, students will have the opportunity to explore various degree programs and careers, learn more about the admissions process, talk to faculty in their academic areas of interest, sample live classes, and more!

This Degree Exploration Day will feature two different colleges at MSUB (Education along with Liberal Arts & Social Sciences) Attend one session, or stay a full day to explore majors within two collegesComplimentary lunch is included. Please pass this information on to any students that might be interested in this event.

MSUB Preview Day is Feb 24th. Here students can picture themselves as a student by taking a guided tour through campus with other prospective students to see where they will learn, where they will live, where they will meet friends, and experience the Yellowjacket life. Students learn more about our programs and admission process, talk to faculty in their academic area, sample one of the classes at MSUB, and get help navigating college preparation.

MSUB is also offering a Yellowjacket Overnight Experience to stay the night Sunday February 23rd and try out our Residence Life, check-in starts at 5:00 pm. Students can expect to eat dinner on campus and join in on a student activities. They just need specify they are interested in this experience while registering and we will catch them up with all the details!

Preview Day 19-20

SALISH KOOTENAI COLLEGE

Fall Preview Day – Friday, November 15th for 9th and 11th-grade students

We are a Tribal College on the Flathead Indian Reservation and our mission at SKC is to provide quality post-secondary educational opportunities for Native Americans, locally and from throughout the United States. Salish Kootenai College aspires to be the pre-eminent educational center of excellence for American Indian Students, grounded in the culture of the Seli ́š, Ksanka and Qlispe ́ people of the Flathead Nation. The college will empower students to improve the lives of their families and communities through research, leadership, and service. 

SKC represents 20 different states and providences and 68 North American Tribes.  We are an open-enrollment campus and also serves students who are non-Native American. 

The purpose of Preview Day is to showcase the importance of the college by exhibiting SKC departments with presentations and activities. We have 17 Bachelor degrees, 25 Associate degrees, and 12 Certificate programs.  SKC will be able to help secondary students plan for careers, college, and finances. UNIVERSITY OF PROVIDENCE

  • Argo Winter Adventure: Feb. 7-8, 2020
    • An overnight campus visit that includes a free trip to Showdown Ski Area to ski, board, or snowshoe and enjoy the best of a Montana Winter.

  • Argo Summer Adventure Dates TBA 2020: Description: Join us for a taste of student life under the Big Sky at the University of Providence Argo Summer Adventure. It’s a campus visit event like no other! After a campus tour and information sessions, we’ll head out to the Missouri River on Saturday afternoon for a rafting trip for you and a parent or guardian – at no cost to you. We want you to experience life as an Argo, where our freshman seminar includes a whole year of Central Montana discovery and adventure, including mountain hikes, snowboarding, camping, and more.
