*****Here is an interesting article on the value of taking a dual credit course in high school.*****
All dual credit paperwork must be turned in to Helena College by Friday afternoon! (September 15th)
If you’ve already submitted the required documents you will be receiving a bill in the mail shortly. Be sure to pay attention to the payment deadline (September 30th) so that you’re not dropped from your course. If you have any questions or need to speak with someone at Helena College about your bill please call (406) 447-6920.
Dual Credit Application: This document is used by the college to create a student’s profile in their computer system. Many HHS students completed this last spring and will not need to do it again this fall. If you’re unsure whether or not you’ve already filled it out you can come by the counseling office and we can tell you if you submitted one last spring.
Dual Credit Registration: This document is how you register for your specific class(es). Your teachers will have the CRN number for each of their courses.
Dual Credit Release of Information: This needs to be completed and turned in with the other papers.
Transcript with ACT scores or ACCUPLACER Test Score: If you are taking an English course, Math course and/or Psychology course for dual credit you need to provide Helena College proof that you meet the minimum test score requirements. If you took the ACT with HHS last spring this information will be on your transcript. If you are a senior and didn’t score high enough on the ACT, are a junior or didn’t take the ACT with HHS last spring you will need to take the ACCUPLACER test. This test needs to be scheduled through Helena College and costs $15.00 for each test. (If you need both a math and English score your fee will be $30.) Call (406) 447-6939 if you need to schedule a time to take the test before September 21, 2017. You can look at this webpage for additional information.
