Opt-Out Notification for Military &/or Other Recruiters:

Federal law requires the school district to provide military recruiters, upon request, with the name, address and telephone number of each secondary school student unless the student or student’s parent has advised the district that this information is not to be disclosed.

You can read more about this on page 70 of the 2021-22 Student Handbook, and you can download a copy of the form here. Please note that forms must be returned by November 19, 2021.

Reach Higher Montana

Reach Higher Montana’s mission is to provide students and families with the knowledge and tools to finance and pursue their post secondary education. ACT Test
The ACT® test assesses high school students’ general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.

  • The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science.
  • The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.

SAT Test

The SAT Reasoning Test is a standardized test designed to measure the critical thinking skills that students will need for academic success in college. The SAT was developed by the College Board, a non-profit organization.

The SAT test is about 4 hours long and offers possible scores between 600 and 2400. The test is broken down into three main sections: critical reading, writing and math. Each section is scored on a scale of 200 to 800 points.
