The “Green Group” at Helena High is group of students dedicated to finding solutions to local and global environmental concerns. Students participating in this group have opportunities to get involved in a variety of local projects including recycling, tree planting, alternative renewable energy resources, land conservation, habitat restoration, participation in local environmental policy, and much more! We have developed several community partnerships (Prickly Pear Land Trust, Montana Conservation Corps, SAVE, Sleeping Giant Citizens Council, Growing Friends of Helena….. just to name a few!) who also provide some awesome opportunities, as well as resources. Over the year we also plan a few field trips, enjoy visits from guest speakers, have parties, laugh a lot, and have fun.
